2023 Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning &
Advanced Computing
Our aim is to bring together researchers working on the development
and applications of AI and ML, with an emphasis on topics included
in AIMLAC, i.e. fundamental science, health, and the underpinning
computer science and mathematics. This includes new algorithms with
potential applicability across research domains, and applications
relying on large-scale computing. Besides scientific presentations,
we plan sessions on employability, governance and policy, and career
development, with ample time for networking.
Who: the conference is open to all PhD researchers and
academic staff at the five partner Universities as well as
external partners.
Costs: AIMLAC students, supervisors and external partners
are covered by AIMLAC; members of the Zienkiewicz Institute
are covered by the Zienkiewicz Institute.
Costs for others: a nominal fee for coffee/tea breaks and
lunches is required (£25/day). An optional dinner is
provided on Thursday evening (£37).
External partners are welcome to participate; for questions,
please see contact details below.
Presentations on research and contributions to panel
discussions on employability, career development, governance
and policy are welcome: see registration page.
